Which? Rail Customer Satisfaction Report

Earlier last week consumer rights group ‘Which?’ revealed some awful yet not surprising statistics based on how satisfied customers are with their train operator. Southern Rail ranked bottom of table with a shameful 21% of their customers being satisfied with their service; a huge drop from the already disappointing 44% they got awarded in a previous Which report.

Other GTR owned services also joined Southern Rail at the pits of the league with Southeastern receiving a shabby 31% customer satisfaction rate, followed by Thameslink and Great Northern who received a 32% rating.

In light of the new information, we wanted to get a better understanding of how often people were actually getting delayed by their train operator. Here is what we found with our research:

 

94% of commuters who took part in the survey said they are delayed by their train operator at least once a week. 

Out of this 94%, a whopping 73% of commuters who took part said they are delayed ALMOST EVERYDAY by their train operator.
